I know that many of the manufactors say that their product can do this or do that but is there an oven that really can cook a roast meal comparably to a convenional oven.

Yes there is a "Sanyo" fan assisted oven 1200w, Super showerwave 900w a great addition to my kitchen especially as my gas cooker went on the fritz this time last year,it will be cooking my roast Christmas dinner this year, very nicely.

The only thing that you won,t be able to do in the micro is Yorkshire pud.You need a normal oven to cook that in

yes,my microwave is also a convection oven and grill,but i choose to cook my roast dinners on a normal cooker!

Yes, "SHARPS" make a combi microwave oven and we use it
cooks a treat.
