lasik surgery?

was it worth it? how much did you end up paying? do you put drops in your eyes everyday? any side effects?

Surgery was completely worth it. I ended up paying about $3100. (Price depends on surgeon's experience, as well as type of technology used)

At the center I work at, and have also had surgery at we have you use anti-biotic and anti-inflammatory drops for 5 days after surgery to prevent any infections. We also have you use artificial tears for one month after as your eyes are a little dry the first month after LASIK.

I didn't experience any side effects. Some that one can experience are nighttime vision side effects such as halos, glaring or starbursts (can be reduced/treated w/Wavefront technology). Or one can have dry eye - can be fixed by using artificial tears or punctum plugs.
