I understand that...I phrase it different as " shy extrovert ". I take it to mean that the person is not bold, loud, type, more observant and easygoing...yet has a side that smiles at you, takes your hand and says...just to you...let's to out there and play, explore, experience, live our life don't let our life live us. Participate and soak up life, yet don't have to be stronger, in your face type to be that way.

I think I know a quiet but outgoing type. When there is a group of us, say 5-6 people he wont speak much, but every 5 minutes of so he will say something, and its usually very funny or very imformative to the conversation. He doesnt say much, but everyone listens to him and he is very popular. He is outgoing in the sense people like him and he does participate, but only when he has something good to say.

Maybe he means quiet when its appropriate to be quiet, and outgoing as far as being open with him, sharing things with him, etc. Or he could mean outgoing when everyone is around, like at a party...but quiet to the point your not the center of attention. lol. Im starting to confuse myself, try asking what he means...im sure he could explain it better than any of us can. lol...good luck

I guess it means he like the quiet type that doesn't bud in or interupt and outgoing for when you guys go out then she's really the outgoing type.

Quiet by keeping your thoughts & opinions to yourself (in a respected way) You are easily pleased & content.
Outgoing means you like to do things with him, but in a more quiet, reserved way. You like to eat out, visit family, spend alone time with him (cuddling, watching movies, etc.)
These 2 together are good things.

All he is saying is he wants a woman who will be with him and only speak when spoken to and make sure your fun when you go out with him. But won't it be better if he just went out with a dog, they are quiet and outgoing, too.
