In studies of cats eyes, it has been found that they contain color rods(the part of the eye that interprets color). They do not have as many as the human eye does, we see much more color.
look up cat vision,cat color vision. It will show a picture chart of what scientist think cats see in color verses what we see in color.

Yes, cats can see in color but only in pastels. They can't see some of the darker colors that we can see. On the other hand, cats have great eyesight and can see in the dark. That's why cats have such terrific balance,

yes they can in fact cat's eyes work a lot like our eyes do. They can't see in pitch black but they can see better in the darkness than we can. Cats can accually see a lot of the colors that we can see but color apparently don't mean much to them

I don't care who says that cats cant see color my cat Gracie who passed away at the age of 16 &1/2 due to cancer would only let me put pink colars on her! I tried red, and I tried blue and dhe only would wear pink. so I knew she had a favorite color.

Cats can see almost as well as humans can, and at times better.Like humans, cats have binocular vision, although not as well tuned as in humans. This means a cat most likely sees in 3-D, as do humans, which is very useful for judging distance.

I would think that cats see like dogs, Black and white but im not sure.Cats might beable to see some colors.
