For the past several months I have had what seems to be fluid in my ear. When I turn my head a certain way or if I am upside down working on something the fluid will move and I hear popping and my hearing is considerably diminished in my right ear. I have tried warm water, alcohol, qtips, vinger and alcohol mixed. I still have not been able to correct the problem. To regain my diminished hearing in my right ear I have to pinch my nose and blow to make my ear pop. I dont have insurance and I dont want to go to the doc. Anyone have any solutions?

It sounds like the fluid is in your middle ear behind the ear drum. Maybe you have some allergy issues. Try taking a non-drowsy antihistamine (like Claritin or something) and see if it helps.

The inner ear is a funny thing,Alot of the time the problem has to do with your masroids,Its like a sponge in the inner ear it kindof stopps up and causes a drainage,Other known as swimmers ear.Take some olive oil(SWEET OIL N.F)warm it put in the ear lay in a position to where it wont drain out put a piece of cotton in the ear leave it in for about a hour.take out the cotton chew a big wad of gum at a fast chew for about fiveminutes your ear should pop and your mastriod should be able to breath.Try it it works for me and my wife.A old wives tell remedy is to take a draw of a ciggerrate cup you hand and blow the smoke into you ear about five times, the nicotien will dry it up,Ofcorse you have to get someone else to blow the smoke into your ear for you because noone is gifted enough to do their on,LOL

You have done everything I would suggest. This has happened to me several times, If your eustation tubes (ear tubes) are still swollen or inflammed, taht will be aggravating the problem. When your tubes are swollen the fluid can't drain.I started a great new product named Simply Saline. It is an aerosal saline spray. I spray my nose when I get up and before I go to bed. It keeps your passages moist and washed out and has helped my allergies significantly.

if you go to a health store and get earwax candles, they clear your ear out like a miracle. i am not sure if it is earwax that is giving you greif but they feel amazing and it might relieve some of the pain or discomfort you are feeling. good luck!
