Hey, if you know why they are giggling and laughing at you - you're onto a winner. Add some humour into the presentation and you're nearly there.
If you can't think of any funny comments to say, convince yourself, you are just actor - going infront of a childish audience - and within a few minutes it will be over. I bet each and every person is dreading doing theirs..........they probably feel better just by humiliating you, they're taking the focus of themselves.

I've seen this question (and ones similar to it) come up a few times. From what you describe it sounds like you suffer from a form of social anxiety disorder (SAD), as you know facial flushing is the body's natural reaction to embarrassment (among other things) but SAD means that's it particularly sensitive. You may only have a slight amount of attention drawn to yourself to trigger it. The good news is it is treatable. Consult your doctor and ask them about Congnative Behavioral Therapy (CBT), this is a non medecation based treatment that can help change your thought pattern to prevent or reduce the facial flushing. In the meantime try not to avoid the situations that trigger the problem as part of overcoming the problem will be learning to deal with it head on.

You probably can't. Getting red in the face, or blushing, occurs when blood rushed to the vessels which are located superficially on your face. There are some surgical procedures, like moving the sympathetic ganglia supplying to the vessels, but you probably will not want that, it is accompanied by a lot of risks... And by the way, I don't think that's such a bad thing. people will get tired of it eventually. What's there to laugh or giggle at anyway?

During your speech, see if you have a friend you can stare at the entire time!
Or, if none of your friends are in your class, stare straight ahead at the wall and don't pay attention to anyone.
You can put some blush on, say you got cold from the oustide, and if you get red in the face, nobody can tell!

my sister used to flush so red she would have red flush marks on her neck, face, and even her shoulders....everything embarrassed her.....and it would happen when she was nervous.....
when she went to medical school, the psychiatrists there decided to put an end to this most difficult problem....they felt that patients would not understand if the doctor was embarrassed.....so they would say the most embarrassing and godawful things to her to try to make her blush....finally, she got really pissed off and told them off in class.....much to her surprise, they applauded her......she was over the self-consciousness and never blushed again.....
the moral of the story: you are tooooo self conscious....if in high school, it will pass.....perhaps you could get some friends to bullbait you (say embarrassing things) while you sit in front of them with a completely straight face....if you smile, laugh, or giggle, start over again until you can handle anything....in just a few sessions, you will be cured.......good luck.....
