If you have a high school diploma, you don't need a GED, which is a high school diploma. What is the real story?
Contact the school board in the county you are in they can tell you how to apply for and take the GED, typically a month or two of classes for preparation.

A GED is for people who don't have a high school diploma. If you graduated from a legitimate high school, they can't make you get a GED.

But if you don't really have a diploma, call your local adult learning center or board of education and they'll tell you where you can go to take the test. All you have to do is take the test.
Some places give the test for free, but you'll probably have to pay.

It's just a test, nothing more. And if you have a high school and college diploma, I don't why they'd want you to take a GED. GED is for people who haven't finished highschool. Actually, my mother had to take it before she went to college, but only because she finished highschool and college in another country.
