Is there a link between arsenic poisoning and the profession of a car mechanic? I know a mechanic who has been diagnosed with traces of arsenic in his blood and was told there is a link. Thanks.

actually, arsenic is also a chemical in treated lumber.
Has the mechanic been in contact with treated wood. Perhaps he has a deck on his porch?

arsenic will be absorbed through the skin as well and doesn't have to be injested.
