The Cell phone from Florida works in Hawaii?

I went on a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands and usually the signal was clear, but sometimes if we were farther out in the ocean it would get fuzzy. When you are on land the signal is clear and you are really only sailing at night, so you should be able to talk on the phone most of the trip.

no you cant, i even tried it, and the phone just would not work, no matter if we were docked or not , and my cell phone is good for the united states it reaches all over, Sooo, Its just somekind of a conection that you cannot use the cell phone, However they have computers on the ships, and you can email and send private messages on the computers to your friends and family at home

It relies upon what provider you employ. Cingular and sprint artwork nice. as quickly as I used Nextel we did not have sign.once you're crusing from l. a. to Hawaii you wont have finished sign whilst at sea.
