Sounds like a stress headache. Take some ibuprofein, or aleve (naproxin). Stress headaches are caused by swelling around the brain. Anti-inflamatories work the best. Also you could try a warm compress on the back of your neck. (where the tension is started). To make a warm compress: take a clean sock, fill it with about 2-3 cups of rice. Knot the end and throw it in the microwave for about 1minute. Ahhh feel the relief! :)

Headaches are caused by the lack of salt and potassium in the body. Go to the local health food store and get these things in pill form. With plenty of water, take 6 salt and 4 potassium pills. Lay down and nap for about a half an hour. You will notice the headache gone. All headaches are is a symptom that your body is depleted. Straining to read will intensify the ache. Just relax for a while and it will pass relatively quickly.

Headaches are a major problem. I suggest reading the information linked below. It is hard to make treatment suggestions without more information. One can try the over the counter medications but take care not to take them to often. Rebound headaches can occur to those whom take to much pain medication. Ice or heat may help. I have a wrap that I heat in the microwave that has eucalyptus. That helps me at times. Sleep if possible, is sometimes a relief. My blessings to you for some relief of the suffering.

Tylenol Sinus is good. SOmetimes I get those damn headaches and they are so bad even Tylenol Sinus doesn't help. When that happens I take 2 X-Strength Tylenol to kick in the 2 sinus pills and that usually does the trick. Another thing is to get some spearmint of lavender and inhale deepley, while lying down with your eyes closed. I used to sell little bags of spearmint at a craft stand and one of my customers bought up all I had. She swore it worked!

Tension headaches are usually relieved by laying down, and sinus headaches get worse when you lay down. Maybe you have a sinus infection. Get something that thins mucus (like Mucinex) drink LOTS of water and some saline nasal spray to get some of that stuff outta there.

use a sinus tablet. not sure where you are in the world but in the UK, Mucron is the best pills for what you are describing. Also put a couple of methyl crystals in boiling water and breath in the steam that usually loosens the mucus.
