Lactated Ringer's solution is a mixure of salt water (basically) that contains electrolytes. Also, known as, Hartman's solution, is a fluid and electrolyte replenisher.

Lactated Ringers is an IV solution, got lots of stuff in it, hypotonic. used in fluid deficit situations.
