Im 22 years old student and I wonder If I should get glasses...

My situation is like this: I see bad with my left eye. With bad I mean that I can not read the text in the books if I only use the left eye. Everything is very blurry -like a transparent plastic is in front of my eye.

While with my right eye I see perfect. So when Im reading I think that I use both eyes.

Should I get glasses or lenses or what do u recommend dear yahooanswers users?

Do you think this problem can give me some problems with consentration?

You can talk to someone about laser correction in just the one eye... Or contact lens for just the bad eye.
Glasses can get heavy and uncomfortable. Seems to me there should be a better solution.
See your Eye Doc, he'll check it out and you can discuss whats best for your situation.

It's always well worth the expense of correcting your vision at the very least for reading. Go to your local Walgreens or Duane Reed or whatever drug store and find some reading glasses that correct each eye. If what you say is true you'll only need to correct the left eye so you can buy the pair that works for that eye and pop the right lens out.

Do it, you'll never regret it. You'll enjoy reading again.

You should get glasses. The same happened with me and now I wear glasses even when I read a book or watch TV.

that is normal. i have 20/20 in one eye and the other is not as sharp. if you are very concerned you can get laser correction surgery, or a pair of prescription contacts you will only wear in one eye.

you could just get one contact lense and put wear it and then nothingin your right eye. i've worn glasses/contacts for a long time and contacts are by far easier to wear.

That's what my dad has. He wears glasses for it. One for his bad eye, just clear for his good eye.

I'd recommend glasses if it's that bad.
