He told me about a week ago that he did not want to exchange gifts for christmas and he was sorry that could not get me anything for my birthday because he needed to save all of his money for her. Her b-day is the 16th mine is the 18th. he got upset at me when I told him I was hurt and I should be more understanding because he does'nt have her in his life 24-7

His daughter should always come first, but he still should get you something if you mean anything to him. I mean maybe he cant get it for you on your birthday but later on when he can afford something he should get you something.

Birthdays is the most important thing to CHILDREN. Apparently you don't have any children to understand the importance of a birthday gift from Daddy. I honestly can't believe you would even consider getting a gift instead of a child. I think you need to grow up. How old are you anyway? You are so selfish. I hope you can look at this from the little girls point of view and your wonderful husbands. He is a great Dad.

Point understood but at the same time this is a little girl. If he doesn't have the money to buy you something he should at least make you something... A card, Favorite dinner, a cake? Anything. You on the other hand should know and be more respectful to his daughter. Like I told someone else, she will grow up and hopefully you will still be around for the attention. But keep in mind, his daughter will always be Daddy's girl.

SHUT your selfish a$$ up you should be ashamed of yourself getting jealous over a little girl thats his daughter just cause he don't want to disappoint her for her b.day she's a kid she still thinks that the b.day, christmas and other days alike are really about gifts you should grow up and realize that every day is a day to celebrate and he can give you a gift anytime of the year multiple even STOP BEING A BRAT and let the kid have her day

Stop making him choose between you and his daughter or you'll lose. You knew he had a kid when you got involved. Grow up.
