Okay... I know all you religious folk are hiding out there.... My previous TWO questions re your religion, the Bible, The Koran God & Allah and saving the planet are very conspicuous by your absence... (note the aethiest/agnostics have answered!)... All you have to do is a) click my screen name b) click the QUESTIONS Tab.. c) Read and answer the two previous questions and answer them... or have you finally conceded that there is no god/allah so the planet isn't worth saving?

Exactly - I had a similar lack of god-botherers' answers to my last question.

I don't equate God's presence with saving the earth. While it IS important to be good stewards of what God has provided, saving the earth is not necessary.

Saving souls is significantly more important. This earth is doomed to destruction, and things are supposed to get worse, not better. In the meantime, I must say, those who give us "the sky is falling" prophecies have been wrong most of the time. I remember in the 70's all the scientists "knew" that an ice age was imminent. Now, it's "global warming." What happened to the ice age?

No, Christians are concerned with people, and people have a much higher priority in our minds than "saving the earth." (As if we really could save the earth.) Get your mind off the things of the earth, and look to the eternal. That is more of a reality than this dying world.

As it is written: "They exchanged God's truth for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen." (Romans 1:25)

Besides, that's pretty arrogant of you to decide what Christians believe simply because we choose not to answer (or didn't see) your question originally. Further, based on your a priori bias in the question, we figure that there's not much chance you'd listen to us anyway, other than criticize us.

I am a Muslim, and I believe in Allah - and by the way, Allah is the word for God, simply the Arabic term for it. So if it makes anyone feel better, I believe in God! There is no admition other than that.

Don't be surprised, Boring Old Fart, I have always equated religious tendencies with cowardice, and a refusal to face up to things, including honest questions from non-believers.
