I have bought them before in the past as well, yes you can deep fry them with out any problem. I just drop them in one at a time, as long as they are not really thick you can do them still frozen, just make sure there is NO ICE. Once they are done, they will "float" to the top.

RE:
Can i deepfry frozen potato wedges that are meant to be oven cooked?
I cannot stand them oven cooked but i picked the wrong bag up by mistake. Will they still be ok to deepfry even tho it only states for them to be oven cooked?
Cheers in advance

You can, but chances are, they will fall apart. The reason is, they are usually pre-cooked. This causes them to hold a lot of moisture. When the moisture laden potatoes are immersed in the hot oil, they will start to fall apart.
Good luck on that one.

You can deep fry them, however you need to make sure that they are defrosted so that you do not get burned when the frozen potato meets the hot oil.

Yup. I would fry them at about 375 or whatever your fryer recommends for about 6-8 minutes or so.

Yes, just make sure that you let them sit on a paper towel for about 10 minutes before you fry them.

Sure. I did it at my restaurant all the time. They came in frozen and I just dropped them in the fryer. When they float and are golden brown, they're done!
