OK, so, I applied the whitestrips at 12:30AM, and I was waiting to take them off at 1AM.
To distract myself, I was reading a book. Next thing I know, my alarm is beeping and it's 7am.
My teeth are very sensitive and... the whitestrips are gone !
Did they somehow dissolve in my saliva,
or did I swallow them?
I am certain that I left them on overnight by accident.
What are the health risks?

You're lucky you didn't choke on them!
The plastic on the strips did not dissolve, it sounds like you swallowed them.
You can read the package for any instructions, but my guess is that you'll be fine.

You'll have the whitest digestive system in town! No actually, I think you'll suffer a slow and painful death! Snap out of it!!!! They don't dissolve in your saliva. If they did that they'd be called 'Crest Dissolving Whitestrips'! That idea brings me to a question though. If you think that they might dissolve in your mouth, why don't you think that they'd dissolve in your stomach too? You should have paid more attention in science class. The mystery strip will just pass thru you like everything else you eat.

Nothing will happen to you, just wear them earlier in the evening next time so you won't forget. If it makes you anxious call the number on the back of the box - they have nurses that will contact you spefically about the problem if there is a health risk.
Also you probably swolled them bc even if it dissovled into your salvia - you still swolled that.

You will probably be just fine. It should say on the package if there is any harm if you swallow one. And if so what to do.
