LOL, i am a father of 2 daughters. One is fixing to turn 2 in a week and my youngest is 8 months. I love them to death... but it's kinda early for them to describe me. I hope I am a good father and a good husband but I know I am not the perfect man in the world.

My children are now adults and I have grandchildren. My three children and two step children have told me what type of parent they feel I am. I have heard I am wonderful and great. I was a leader advisor listener friend. I was giving supportive honest and up front. They said they knew when they screwed up I would not make excuses for them or blame others. But I would help them as well learn the lesson at hand. They said I was always there to talk with they never felt alone. They said too many times friends wished their parent was like me. I did not let them get away with things I just stood solid as their parent. Now today they say I am their best friend and the one person on lifes journey they know they can always turn to in good and bad times. They said what I gave them was the ability to love with their whole heart, how to make lemonade out of lemons, how to never back down off of their own morals and how to give to others. I by the way am proud of my adult children. My 8 & 11 year old grandchildren have told me Grandma we can always count on you. I support my family not financially but with emotion. Guess the answer is I gave of myself out of pure love

The best, they are forever telling me so. I am their best friend as well as their mom, and they are my shadow, always wanting mom with them in whatever they do...for my birthday they made a spa day here at the house..all three of them...each room in the house was set up (for a massage, a manicure, a pedicure, facial, etc.) and they even serenaded me at the end, my son playing the guitar, the other two singing, after they made me my favourite "alcoholic" drink to relax me....what can I say? They are a testimony to their parents and especially their mom! :~)
They are ages 14, 11, and 8.

My daughter is my best friend..We are more like sisters than mother-daughter.Although, I must say,she is a little old fashion. She likes country music and what I call granny clothes.I love rap/rock/jazz etc.And hip hop clothes..My grand-kids call me "Hooch-ee Mama"LOL. I refuse to grow old..I love hip hugger pants and tight fitting tops....My daughter once told someone that she was like the mother and I was the child. My son thinks of me the same way.except he and I have the same taste in music...I just love life and don't plan to sit on the porch in a rocking chair watching the world go by.....Age has no boundaries!!!!!!

My two boys are grown and out on their own and I think they would say that I am a good parent and they love having me for a father. I never deprived them of anything that I could afford for them that they wanted although I taught them the value of a dollar. The greatest gift I gave my sons was my love.

I think I would be described as :
A hard A$S, right to the point, lay it on the line.
Means well but tends to lecture.
Rules the roost with a batch of cookies and a iron fist.
If momma isn't happy, no one will be happy.

They hate me cuz i was over protective to a fault. I was mean and told them what they didn't want to hear all the time and still do. I'm too vocal of their faults and even more when they do great to the point i embarrass them for my joy. I never allowed them to get away with murder or the little things. i wasn't like their friend's parents. i gave them too much freedom although to hear them say it I never allowed them to go anywhere. i was just plain mean as hell. and I do it all over again. They r great kids today for it.

My daughters adore me, and my daughters friends think I am the coolest dad out there, and most of them said I was even cooler then their own dads. I am strict, but firm, and my daughters are the most important parts of my life. But they know I fought hard for them and showed them I will cross any boundary for them, and they will forever be grateful to me for not leaving their side, like their mother did.
