I am from the uk and my boyfriend is from cameroon. he was over here in uk on a visa. that visa ran out and he went home to get another visa so he could study over here. his apllication was refused. does anyone have any suggestions on what we could do. would he be able to apply for a working visa somewhere else in europe and would that be easier for him to get.. and because his appliation was refused does that mean he can't even come to uk for a short stay(1 week or 2)

He has to get a VISA or he will not make it past immigration, if he attempts to come into the UK without the required VISA he will be kept in a holding cell at the airport until the next flight out to Cameroon.

Its nice that you are asking for him.... but odds are he won't be able to get another if it was "refused". There is usually a reason. As far as other countries he could try but if refused in one EU country odds are slim. He could appeal and work at it for some time and maybe way later he might be successful. Meantime you will be sitting around waiting and eventually you or he will meet someone else. I'd say break up and if down the road he works it out you can go from there.

I don't know what to tell you. The Immigration is so f***ed up that it is unfair! My husband has been waiting on a visa for 1 year now.

if he's had one visa refused it's likely that the immigration officers will refuse him entry on all grounds, even a short stay.

Its disappointing for you I'm sure, but I'm afraid he will never be legally allowed back here so break up with him and move on.
