I'm going to Sweden next week to visit my kids. I'm going to stay at a friend's flat. We've known each other for 5 years now and met occasionally, like once a year and, yes, had sex. I was once in love with him and wanted a life together but he never really committed. He keeps on saying he couldn't commit because of problems he has had with family and work. We like each other and get on well though so no pressure. On the other hand, I have been chatting with two other Swedes and they both are interested in meeting me next week. What shall I do? My friend no 1 is taking time off to be with me and I am only staying 5 days. Of course I will be seeing my grown up kids, 20 and 17 but as my kids study, I will only be able to do it when they are not in school or studying. I am at the same time very curious about these other two blokes. Bloke no 2 phones me regularly and bloke no 3 is very sweet and spends a lot of time playing poker with me online.

My friend keeps on asking to come over and visit me, yes. I guess as nothing has happened for 5 years, I'm not always so keen to meet him i e if I am not the one flying over to Sweden to visit my kids. I'm actually taking advantage of his accomodation.

Meet them, how long have you known this bloke and nothing has progressed. Yes he has taken time off, but hey does that mean you have to spend all your spare time with him?
Hes a mate not your dad, do what you want!

i would say follow your heart. it really sounds like you are very keen to meet these other two guys. do it. you come first in your life. the sooner you realise this, the better things will work out for you. i can honestly say that, speaking from experience, if you always chase around and try to make other people happy, the one who always ends up being unhappy is yourself. life is just far too short. it's not like you and this friend are in a commited relationship, and even though he is taking time off to spend with you, you don't actually owe him anything. if he was such a good friend to you then he would have visited you a long time ago. always reach for the moon, cause even if you do happen to fall, you will always land on a star. good luck.

yeah unlucky (not), If there's no future with your friend why bother, OK it's nice to have a no strings relationship, But a woman needs more right? the other two guys, just flip a coin or date them both and then decide properly. Truth is darling someone will get hurt, Not you, but one of those guy's so think carefully about what you want and which one can provide this for you best. James Bond plays poker, is that any help?

There'll never be any future with your friend so meet the other two Swedes, and all the very best.
