You SHOULD be 18.. and it varies on how much you wanna pay for one. Usualy like if its nice or big and all of that stuff. When you go to the tattoo place, ask them that stuff. Dont be too young getting it, and be sure you really want it and have to live rest of your life w/ it unless you wanna pay all that $ getting it off. Be wise! The age is 16 with parental consent, 18 without. The cost will depend on the size and deatail. Most shops have a minimum of $40-50 even if the tat is really small. And when ur checkin around for prices, keep in mind u get what u pay for. It's not always best to go for the cheapest. And make sure u look at the artists potfolio as well. Good luck!

I live in Canada and here you have to be 16 years old but a parent or guardian must sign a consent form if order to get one. But after that it is 18. Once your 18 your legally ready to get a tattoo. The cost depends on the size of the tattoo, if you want colour, how detailed that tattoo is. Also some artists charge by consultation time. Just remeber a tattoo is there for life and it hurts more to get it removed, then it does to get a tattoo. Get a tattoo for meaning not just cuz everyone else has one. I have the breast cancer ribbon on my wrist with my grandma's name because she fought breast cancer and is an inspiration to me. Consider all this b4 you get a tattoo

18, although some states will allow people under that age to get them as long as a parent or legal gaurdian gives permission (from what I have heard in that case you have to be at least 15, but not sure.) The cost of the tattoo depends on the size, if it is done in black only, or is in color, and how many colors are used. Another factor is also where you get it done at (meaning who does it, not where on your body you have it placed.)

you need to be 18 to get a tattoo done in most states! The cost depends on the artist, type of tattoo or they may charge buy the hour! Go to a tattoo shop and check them out! get comfortable with the artist if you can't relax with them you won't be able to get one done buy that person! just go to the next tattoo artist and check them out!

Usually you have to be 18yrs old but with an adult it probably wouldn't matter. The cost of tattoos really depend on where you go and get it and how big it might be. Some cost as small as $30 and as much as $200.

16 with parent there and 18 for alone and the cost... it just depends on the size of the tattoo you want. This is in TN so probably the same other places.

you should be 18+ to get a tattoo and depending on what tattoo you want for example if you want a detailed tattoo then it would cost a lot but if you want a simpler tattoo then it would cost less.

to get a legal tattoo you have to be 18. I'm only 14 so I don't have one or anything but it probally cost about $100 for a small one.
