i have windows xp, and all of the required things, but when i run the download utility, an error thing always pops up. it keeps saying an error has occured and you can send an error report to aol or something. and i dont know what to do and what the problem is. can someone help me?

Well, are you using another Instant Messaging program like Yahoo or MSN while you use AIM?
That can slow it down a LOT, and that's why it screws up, but also, did you know that now you can use Trillion, another Instant Messaging program that allows you to IM anyone on ANY Instant Messenger...
You can download THAT or try the other way...
