Do you mean that you can't get a picture or that the power won't go on? If it's the power, you have trouble and probably need to buy a new one or have it repaired. Check something else out in the outlet that it's plugged into to make sure it isn't that.

If it's the picture... Check to see what channel the TV is on. It usually needs to be on 2,3, or 4. Sometimes that have a special input/av/game button on the remote.

Check the cable connections.

If you have a cable box, turn it off for 20 seconds, then turn it back on.

Make sure that your remote isn't dead... walk up to the TV and turn it on that way if you haven't tried it already.

Is it an old TV? The picture tube may have died.

if you have cable then maybe the cable is out. the cable company has problems too.
