Ive tried some lesser pedometers before and sometimes they skip steps or stop working after a few days, are these ones reeally good? i mean they are only $8 on ebay.

I know people who use them, the weight watcher and they like them. Alot of pedometers don't count each time your foot goes down, it wil count every other step so every time your foot goes down on the side the pedometer is on.

You can buy a very good one for only $20-25 at sporting goods stores like Big 5.

If it's important to you, I'd go with the better one. Or if you're bored you can count your steps: 2000 = 1 mile

Spring for a better one, and most deffinatly by them somewhere other than ebay, but other than that they should be fine, but skipping steps is not good, just TRY something new, it might actually turn out to be better. hoped it helped a bit!
