If i got 12 presents it'd be like 12 tiny ones and a medium size one at the end, but if i got one it'd be a bigger one. What to do?

Why 12? Hanukkah goes on for eight days. We generally give one present per year at Hanukkah. I recommend giving him the bigger one. Otherwise, he might get a little freaked out by the constant sweet gestures.

How does his family celebrate the season? If they do the 12 little presents and then a big one- follow their lead.

Happy Hanukah!

No, one is sufficient and it doesn't need to be big. Nobody does multiple ones.

The holiday last for 8 days, not 12, but gift giving isn't any different than Christmas.

i visit describe this very merely. one million. this is not effectual to you to apply your bible to income Jewish innovations- this is been altered in too many places via the early church and maximum many times the theory besides because of the fact the textual content textile has been replaced with the top result being the transport of a thoroughly distinctive message. 2. The Xian concept of devil has *no* (and that i advise honestly none) resemblance to the Jewish version. See above. 3. think of of a prosecuting lawyer. Is the lawyer prosecuting of his very own unfastened will? Does the lawyer decide the customer? Does the lawyer, in fact, inevitably think of each customer is in charge? No. The lawyer is charged with prosecution via an stronger potential- in his or her case, the state. As a topic of the state, he's not there to workouts his very own unfastened will, he's there to deliver stability and grant up one edge of a tale. The devil has a place very such as this lawyer (different than, of direction, the lawyer did get to go with regulation college :),- he's not there because of the fact he has fallen, or is evil, he's there to do a job and strike a stability, as are all the different criminal specialists. The Xian concept of the devil- one that is evil and performs evil of his very own unfastened will- is what does not exist in Judaism. If it have been as xtianity claims, then this devil could be yet yet another (xian)god besides to the Xian trinity, as angels- evil or no longer, fallen or no longer (we will not debate that section right here) do no longer very own the powers attributed to HaSatan via Xianity. As to your extra question, The spectrum of affiliations- from reform to orthodox- selection in ranges of prepare and assertion, however the middle tenets stay the comparable for the time of- we are a people certain to a novel G-d and to that which that G-d has created. i desire it is common sufficient to hold close- no longer on account which you're incapable yet because of the fact the adjustments are so super even nonetheless Xians are taught they do no longer look to be, that i be attentive to people on your subject many times conflict with having been misinformed relating to Jewish ideals, after which whilst they attempt to understand, this is somewhat difficult to 'wrap your suggestions around'. the terrific element to do is what you probably did- ask Jews :)

If you don't know, then you don't know him well enough.......stop...think....what are you doing...for him or for you?

....Chanukah is not 12 days....and you need to look that up on the internet.
You're thinking of the 12 days of Christmas.....and you need to go online and study...what it means for the Chanukah lights...and when the oil did not go out....for all of those days....festival of lights.

Ask him....what he prefers at the holidays.....not you.
