When reading answers assume that they are answering somebody else and not yourself since they are in fact answering their perception of you which is very likely not who you are. No way is the input of mindless cowards worthy of consideration.

i agree....good statement.

However, if someone says something that is true, I believe it should be considered even if it comes from a cowardly source. I believe, if one asks a question that requires an answer, one should should not despise it entirely if it is merely offensive. He may lose the possible answer he was looking for. Not sure I know many people that appreciate EVEVRYthing that is true...When I eat chicken, I eat the meat and spit out the bones.

Especially regarding religeous questions...I don't believe people should get as ruffled as they do. After all, they are searching for an answer right? If you can consider the validity/nonvalidity of the message rather than the messenger and his attitude you will be able to read all things.

I like that, although that is not my problem.
I get frustrated when people don't answer what I am asking. Usually they are trying to be trite, and think they are smart, but if they really read my question they would know that I do not want their answers.
Anyway I hope your answer helps people who have hurt feelings easily. I don't know what to do about my problem.

Very good suggestion! That would eliminate the need for having hurt feelings from answers that are inconsiderate. No one really knows who they are talking to and it is not personal!

No... it's better to remember that YA is for entertainment only and that people are just here to have fun... This isn't supposed to be a serious philosophy class

Well what are you wasting your time for? Usually one person will answer right on the money for me. You don't have this experience?

This is why I occasionally put a "disclaimer" on my questions, along the lines of "Please do not read into my beliefs, please no ad hominem arguments, this is just a question". So far it's worked stunningly well.
