Mmm,.. Butter cookies. Why do you people torture me with these >.< Last person to bring up something connected to food I got a violation. Oh wait,.. you said Butler.
Red Butler was a character on Rainbow Brite.
He sounds similar in colors to Tuxedo Mask.
I think Barron (like the Red Baron pizza) would be more interesting (better status) but I can't spell so alot of good I do.
Usually this cat would end up with a name like Pepper or Booties or something like that.
Added: angel_uk: My male cat was about that old when I got him from a breeder and he didn't have a name. Some cats are 8 years old in shelters and pet shops and still don't have a name.

How cute your kitty must be. Let's see - what about Samuel or Sam for short. I can't remember the name of the butler on the old sitcom where Will Smith moved into his rich relatives mansion in BelAir CA. You probably know that one but sorry I cant think of the but's name right off hand.

What about Buttle? Butlers do that, apparently.
Other butlers, according to wikipedia, include Burrell, Benson, Alfred, Cadbury, Hudson, Hobson & my favourite (after Cadbury & Benson)
Hovis
Particularly appropriate as apparently he was the butler in a cartoon called 'Catscratch'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catscratch
Hope this helps

well id say look at the personality of the cat (we named our cat natasha cause she is evil 70% of the time and natasha backwards is 'ah satan' ^_^ the other 30% is when she is acute and adorable, usually when she wants something) anyway the way you described the cat a name of a butler sounds cute for a cat... maybe something like Jeeves, Bernard, or Higgins
