I've never done it, but my friend has. She lost 78 lbs since joining and looks amazing! The great thing about weight watchers is they teach you how to look at food and totally revamp your eating habits. You make a complete lifestyle change that you can not only live but thrive with! Yes, you may only lose 1-2 lbs. a week, but what you have to realize it that's the HEALTHY way to lose weight! Ppl. that make a shift in their eating approach to lose weight in this fashion are more likely to keep weight off longer than any other kind of diet.

Go for it!

If you can afford it and don't mind 1-2 lb a week, it's a good plan. It's #3 in speed of weight loss after fasting or Kimkins.

WW is organized, you'll get support from members and they will teach you to measure and weigh food.

Beware of all the Weight Watchers "essential" products you'll be encouraged to buy. The lobby looks like a store!

I've never tried but heard good things. These people are not about gimmics and actually care about your health. I'd say give it a try but feel free to also check out the following book.

It worked for many people in Canada (and is recommended by some heart doctors in Toronto and New York.) It also is easy and deals with the hunger issues without compromising nutrition. The guy who wrote it was the head of the Ontario heart association. the book is available in US too.

My mom was on weight watcher for a year. And I have a friend who did it for five years. I think it's a good program if you still to the points. Sometimes it can be fun calculating how many points things are... I recomend it.

I think it is a great idea! it works because the amount of food you eat goes along with your weight. They are going to change the program further coming up to be more partnered with your body. if you do it, stick to it if you dont see results right away, just wait, they will come. good luck!
