i know most people have little quirks that they can't help,
i know someone who hates to wear socks at an uneven height, for example, otherwise he's mentally stable and i have a few tendencies also, is this a minor form of ocd, or is it just wierd

i can agree with that...I think its safe to say everyone has at least a little bit of that in some area or other.

OCD, Obsessive Composive Disorder is only diagnosed when such activity prohibits or seriously affects the person from living a normal life. Everything else is just a "querk."

Yes, just about everybody have a form or another of "uniqueness."

It isn't wierd at all. Everyone is a bit compulsive over certain things. Once it starts to interfere with your daily life, then it's a problem.

Maybe, but some people are slobs. They do not pick up after there self around the house, but they expect someone else will. Yet they will obsess over their car.

i think it becomes ocd when it is all you think about

for example, I wash my hands often throughout the day, but thinking about germs is not on my mind ever minute
