If that is the only reason you are moving out give your head a shake.. You do not have to like her, her emotions her way of doing things or her bahaviour. You can't and won't be able to control this about her. Life out on your own is the same ... You are going to meet people who will use you, hurt you, despise you and get on your nerves 24-7.. It is alot worse out there on your own, if you can't handle yourself properly.
You need to get a grip and grow up... Ignore the crap at home and keep yourself busy with other things away from home.Talk to your parents and see if they can help. You need to get a hobby and get out of the house, Do some volunteer work at a youth centre, food shelter and get a little taste of giving to the community... Get a part-time job if you don't have one and get a life.
We all have family members that we don't like... but thats life.. you can pick your friends but not family... If you give in to her and run away, you are being a coward.. Stand up and be counted , make a difference and show her by example what a good strong and stable person does with their life...
Complaining , running and not facing your demons when you are young will not teach you how to get along in this world and you will struggle with your life's decisions if you don't change your attitude now...
Remember don't take it personally, be the best you can be, don't take anything for granted and be honest with your words..
These are the 4 agreements everyone should put to use in their life... They will serve you well.....good luck

Well, Go to collage and hope you get a scholarship. If you don't then I would start a financial account and eventually raise enough money to move into an apartment or a town home.It may take some time but at least you know you did i by yourself.
Another way to move out without going to collage is stay with a friend.I don't think her parents would mind but make sure shes not going to collage either.
GOOD LUCK!

I agree with doclarewa that if the only reason you want to move out is because you can't stand your sister anymore, then you shouldn't move out. It also show me that you are a little imature when it comes to handle the situation. You are not ready for the nasty public life yet. On the other hand, life is learning and you can only learn more even when you made mistake. We all made mistakes and learnt from them. Going to college is good!!! since you just graduated from highschool. You can get a student loan/grant to go to college and get good grades and then apply for scholarship. Remember, life outside of your comfortable home is tough! you may need to support yourself if your parents can't. Believe me, I know that it is like to live outside of the home. I left my home and was in another country when I was 17. But I graduated from college and doing super fine now. It is doable but you really need determination and hardwork. It is alot harder than dealling with your sister.

The best way to do that is to get a job and start saving some money and then when you are ready to try to move out, find a roommate. Find someone that you have a lot in common with and someone you can get along with and especially someone you trust to share the expensives with.

Fill out a form called FAFSA. You can get it at any college. Or you can get a job and start saving for security deposits. I'd advise the college myself.
