When I was a child from about 6 to 13 years of age I had enough tics to embarass me around the clock .I cleared my throat loudly also. The only problems that I now have (rarely) is eye blinking. But as I was watching a tv documentary about this ailment I learned that I have another symptom which I didn't know was a symptom, and I still have it. I have to keep my self from breaking fragile hinged lids( lap tops, jewelry boxes cell phones etc.) I never actually do it I only desire to . Your stories please.

I have had it since I was 11. I am now 59. I still have a sniffing tic at times. My sister had a humming tic. In the past, I have had eyeblinking, neck twisting, etc. I have social anxiety disorder which goes along with all this. I take an antidepressant. My sister's humming is completely gone since she started taking Strattera. She has also lost 30 lbs.
