Try dried fruits. They are often sweet and chewy (don't eat too many though). Raisins. Apricots. Bananas are all good ideas. And if you want the health benefits of chocolate as mentioned by someone above, it's found in dark chocolate. If you enjoy chocolate that much and don't want to give it up (and who does!), then you don't really have to!
Use it in small amounts and as a reward only. For example, I went three days and stuck on my diet, I can have three dark chocolate Hersey kisses!
It's kinda silly, I know... but it settles the sweet tooth and gives you motivation.

Actually, I am a chocoholic, too. I ate it every day, multiple times a day. But, this year (2006), I decided to make a New Years Resolution that I'd be proud of to do but it would be hard. I gave up chocolate for the entire year! And I have made it this far, only less than a month left until I can indulge again! :)
It was hard at first, I replaced my chocolate cravings with other sweet candy at first such as skittles/lifesavers. After a few weeks, I had less chocolate cravings, still sweet cravings though, and I started eating apples, raspberries, blueberries, etc. You can make strawberry banana smoothies w/fat free milk and ice cubes and fruit--those are healthy as well.
Also, you don't have to give up chocolate, it's not unhealthy if you eat it in moderation!! Dark chocolate actually is good for your heart if you don't have too much. Milk chocolate has benefits too. Chocolate has antioxidants and other helpful things in it, just as long as you enjoy a small piece or two each day, it will satisfy your cravings but not hurt your health.

Do not give up the choccy, you know whatever you try you will always come back to old faithful.
I have tried for years to give it up but without any luck, lets face it can you think of anything that even comes close to that exquisite beautiful mouth watering taste.
Keep with your choccy you know you want to.

Chocolate is not unhealthy. I eat two large bars once a week. It contains important antioxidants, and is good nutrition.

Chocolate is wonderful - however, if you want a healthy alternative, eat a banana.

Fuji apples are delicious, so is instant oatmeal. You might want to consider more sleep. Sleep deprivation always makes me eat like crazy.
