My son was looking at a porn sight and I worry that these girls may not be adults. How do you know the difference?

My real son is 25. We each have our own morals and it's none of my business if he views porn. I just can't help but wonder if you would even know you're looking at adults. Scary!

The age of consent is different in different countries. In the USA it's 18 and the model has to show proof of this (bear in mind that this is only hypothetical). However, some countries in Europe have a different standard on which to go by. Also, be aware that the definition of pornography could be different.

It's perfectly natural for a young male to try to find porn on the Internet. It was the same when I was young trying to find where my dad hid his Playboy magazines.

You need to have a frank discussion with him. Don't be mean and accusatory. Depending on his age, you need to step up and be a parent. Not a mother or a father in the nurturing sense. But a parent. In that you should be a teacher and use your wisdom in guiding him. He is at an age where biology is over riding his level of maturity making him curious about the female anatomy. Perfectly normal. Just proceed with caution and set up some parental controls on his PC.

Why do you let your son look at porn. You might be breaking the law if he is under 18. If its a big company they usually will not use underage girls.

porn normally isn't minors unless it's homemade.

I think you should talk with your son and explain how degrading it is to woman that they make porn and that he watches it.

explain that porn is for adults and that he shouldn't watch it until he's old enough...but if you confront him you have to do it a way not to embarrase him or else that could mess him up in the long run about sex.....you don't want him to think it's a bad thing, just that its not for minors...

You'll know the difference when the FBI contacts you, the problem with many sites, you have no idea their real age and who is monitoring those sites. Be careful.
