I don't think we need to give them amnesty or massive deportation. I think we need to get rid of their options.. start making laws and enforcing them and they will leave on their own...

I hope that people didn't expect amnesty on Nov 8th.The election was not a vote for illegal aliens. It was a vote against Bush, the war in Iraq and most of the incumbents.
In fact a lot of very conservative Democrats won or retained their seats in government. The most pressing thing to the Democrats now is ending or finding a solution to the war.Remember the Democratic party wants to elect a president for their party in 2008.So they aren't going to do much to upset the American voter. In CA
where 39% of registered voters are Hispanic only 6% voted in the mid term election.
So the Democrats are wondering right now what they should do.I wouldn't expect amnesty or and fence to be built right now or anytime soon.
They may try to pass a very watered down immigration reform bill but I doubt it.The Democrats know to listen to the majority of the people .Unlike the Republicans.
I am neither I am against amnesty by any name for any illegal aliens from any country.

Because 76% of American citizens OPPOSE it and the party that attempts a repeat of the Amnesty of the 80's is certainly
asking for political suicide.
Illegal Aliens 13 million last count should under NO condition get any reward or preference for breaking the law and usurping the tens of millions still trying to enter the USA LEGALLY.
That's why!
Entiende companera! No vales nada se no obedeses
la ley de la tierra ...Absuadora y usurpadoras son ustedes todos

They are not going to give the illegals amnesty, the rightful citizens ot he country will not accept it.
The political ramifications of giving amnesty will likely lead to a grassroots backlash that would topple the existing government.
Thinking about immigration, would you favour or oppose building a fence along 700 miles of the border with Mexico?

The ILLEGAL don't deserve amnesty. However, with Congressman Reyes becoming the chairman yesterday they will probably get it. For many years now he has forgotten that he is a United States of AMERICA Congressman. He thinks he is a Congressman for Mexico. He was a Border Patrol Agent for 26 years rising to the position of Sector Chief before he retired in 1995. By his own admission while running for congress in 1996 his family employed illegals to work his family farm in Canutillo. He is Pro Illegal, so they will get all the perks and benefits they have been asking for.

Question is, when's Mexico gonna 'buy a clue' on this one? Only time will tell...looking good so far though, support the US Border Patrol! Woohoo!!!!!!! Viva Los Etados Unidos!
