I just got my cats to stay off the Christmas tree this year. They finally outgrew it! I am headed today to adopt a new kitten who will certainly climb the tree. I just love kittens at Christmastime and all the time. With everyone complaining about their cats and Christmas trees, have I lost my mind?

It's not just for Chrismas. I love all my kitties all the time. Christmas just makes me feel warm and fuzzy and kitteny! It seems the perfect time to add to the family.

No you're not loco. (If you did'nt understand that, sorry, it means crazy, most people know that) But anyway lots of people love cats and its really funny when they climb trees!

Yes, you've lost your mind. Another kitten who'll destroy your ornaments and pull down your tree!!! One or two cats are fine, but more than that is just crazy to me, especially if they use litter boxes - STINKY!!!! But! I do love cats, really and truly I do. They are a joy to have around, but Christmas time can be a little trying on the patience with a cat in the house. lol. Personally, I'm hoping to move to a place that will allow at least a cat, I miss them cuddly and warm on my lap.

Nah, you haven't. How cute, a new kitty!! Awww! I read on here that people use fishing wire to stop kitties pulling the tree over. They attach it to the top then to the ceiling. Think I'll be doing that this year. I have 6 cats!! Hang your best ornaments higher up.

I think you have lost your mind if you are just getting a kitten because you "just love kittens at christmas time"
Just make sure you can handle and afford another cat. And good luck with the tree :)

Put up a tree, and they will climb!!! Loved the idea about the fishing line, (ODDBALL) I'm digging out my tackle box, as my two are already eyeing the ornaments!!! And no, you haven't lost your mind, it's only been temporarily fuzzed.

By all means go get another one, as long as you can afford to have one and you treat them well get one.
