Do you mean 'INNOCENT' people? If so, yes it is very much true. American soldiers wherever they have been deployed end up killing innocent civilians and Afghanistan is no exception!

Hey, "bright one", did you know that the Army doesn't bomb anyone. The Air Force, Navy and Marines use bombs.
And just for your "innocent" mind, sometimes they even kill some of their own when they do.
It is called "collateral damage".
In other words, unless you want to volunteer to sort out the innocent ones and keep them safe, there are going to be some mistakes. It is a war, it is expected to happen.
As far as the news covering it, they do!
It's all they cover! Anything negative about what is happening seems to be the focus of the media.
(Spelling and Grammar would be some helpful tools in your effort to become more informed and educated. The media cannot help you with these.)

Shut the hell up ....we DONT bomb anyone unless either they have been deemed warranted, or we get attacked someplace and have to start throwing our weight around trying to find the coward yellow-bellied piles of dogcrap that wont fight like men. And so, sadly, when these accidents happen, its all on the stupid dummies that get in the way, or hide with the enemy.
Get a grip on a book or some other facts....they kill more of themselves in a week than we could do in a lifetime.

The US Army makes mistakes sometimes, but do not kill
innocent people on purpose like the Taliban did in Afghanistan!! CNN & BBC are not creditable sources!!!!!!

It seems like you're inferring that they're going and round and just randomly killing innocent people.
They're not doing that. Sure, innocent people do die in wars. There's nothing that can be done about that other than say "sorry". And no amount of money or ridicule will bring those people back.
It really seems though that you're trying to stir up bad feelings in here.

Because every time we kill one of the Taliban you people go and claim he was an 'innocent civilian' because he was not part of an organized army.
Take a look at all of the 'body count' sites and notice that they all include dead enemy in the 'civilian' totals.

There has never been a war that did not cause the taking of innocent lives. Picking out one war and saying it is the bad one is hypocritical. Wars suck. The idea is to stop war. All war.
