Both world wars centered around Germany quest to dominate Europe. World War I was the beginning and then Hilter used that to simulate World War II.

The US fought most of the same countries we fought in World War 2, the only difference was that Japan joind the Axis Powers in WW2, and the leader of Germany.

Mainly Germany as we were primarily assigned to the western front which was mainly German units.Though we were at war with all of Germans allies as well.
