If I am understanding you correctly, a woman just can not be with anyone. She has to feel it in her heart and see it in her mind. You can not convince her to like you. It is either there or it is not. A woman would let you know how she feels by the way she looks at you, talks to you, and spends time with you. If she is treating you like a friend, and does not not give you any gestures that she wants more do not push her into something she does not feel. If its just friends, then friends is where it stays.
