We are taking a cruise in a few weeks and would like to know what everyone else thinks. This is our first on RCCL. We will be on the Explorer of the Seas. Are the alcoholic drinks really expensive? Food good? etc Thanks!

The alcoholic drinks are more expensive if you get the souviner glasses and sometimes they just give them to you without you asking, you gotta ask for the plastic each time unless you want a dozen or so glasses in your luggage.
They are awesome though, mine was never weak. They load up on the liquor. The food is good to, you shouldn't have any compliants about food or drinks there.

Drinks are not cheap, however there are non-alcoholic beverages which are free. RCCL is a very reputable, well liked cruise line with very good food. Remember this is not a 4 star French dining experience but you will find some very delicious multi course meals.

My parents went years ago and despised it. They said the food was bad and the worst part was the cabin was like a closet. I've heard good reviews recently so things may have changed. My best recommendation is to go open minded and you will have the best time.
