Of course not.
It's a compilation of bronze-age jewish mythology that was re-written in 325 "ad" by emperor constantine. That's when the council of Nicea took place, an important meeting because that's when they invented the character of Jesus Christ.
He never existed in reality, he was just made up over three centuries after his supposed death.
But some morons insist he really existed. I honestly pity them..

Your very last question is correct.
But, the Bible is the word of God as long as it is translated correctly.
Bible means a collection of Holy Scripture, or books. God himself did not write them, but he commanded and inspired righteous men to write it. Some books are just books speaking about God that have been put into the Bible, though.
LOTS have been taken out of the Bible. Many plain and important truths pertaining to the Kingdom of God. The Roman Catholic church and the few other dominant religions years and years ago held a high council and voted certain passages out, and even whole books at a time, if it did not fit with what they currently practiced. This is unfortunate because much truth and light was lost.
Some scriptures were even changed to fit what they wanted the messages to convey. It's very unfortunate. That's why it's so important to find a copy of a more correct translation of the Bible. So far, as best as I know, the Kings James Version is the best.
There are other scriptures as well that have been written but that were either taken out of the Bible or were never put into the Bible that are also sacred and holy word written in the same way the Bible was. Just because it's not under the cover of "The Holy Bible" does not automatically make it incorrect. The best way to know the truth of the things in the Bible and about any other scripture that could or has come along IS TO PRAY ABOUT IT. God will not lead you astray. He will testify if it is His word and true or not. Trust in him and he will direct you.

Yes, without a doubt it is the entire & true word of God, it wasn't just 'put together'. Slavery actually happened (just in case you don't know) & the people who wanted the adulterous woman dead were hypocrites because the man was also liable for his action according to the law at that time. They only did it to see the reaction of Jesus, not because they were actually going to kill her. As you may not have noticed, the different beliefs of many sects still exsist today, the Bible didn't affect them. And when did scholars actually believe that there is a God? You should actually try reading the Bible, there's alot you don't know about it. The only way to find out if it's sacred or trash is by reading it yourself.

Which one? The best evidence for the fact that the "Bible" is not the "true Word of God" is that there are now literally hundreds of different versions of the Holy Book, and that many of them completely contradict one another!
We cannot ever know if the bible was inspired by "God" or whether it is just the words of the 55 or so men that actually penned it, but we can be sure it has been altered so many times for convenience that the bible you read today bears only a glancing resemblance to any original scripture it was based on.
As the simplest of examples, most bible-readers think "Adam" was a person, whereas in fact the word translated as a single man's name actually means 'mankind' in the original language and text in which it was written.

The Bible is the "inspired" word of God. Written by people who traveled with him or knew him. The Gospel for instance are basically journals for Jesus. Others especially the Old Testament are written by prophets and the like who claim to have had contact (sometimes actual physical contact) with God Himself if you believe that (and I do.)
The Bible was assembled during the Roman Empire at a meeting called the Nicene counsel when which books were going to be included were voted on by scholars (both secular and religious) of the day.Nothing to do with codifying though.

The old testament was very carefully kept by scribes and was used and quoted as scripture by Jesus and the Apostles. There is almost no controversy within these Books as to being authentic. In the New testament we have over 5 thousand Greek and 8 thousand Latin manuscripts all testifying to the integrity of the Books. The debate in the church was mostly against other books some wanted to include and there was very little problem with the ones now in the Bible. If they were used by Jesus and or the Apostles as scripture they were kept. The Bible has a remarkable testimony to its integrit,y far beyond any other book.

"The holy bible" are no doubt, hand-written works by men but inspired by God himself. Yes, some books are not included and rejected because they are "Gnostic" gospels and it provides an inaccurate account of Jesus during his lifetime. Remember, people do not add their own parts to it and every words that are present in the "holy bible" are from God.
For your information, there are searches being conducted recently at Mount Ararat (If I'm not wrong) in Turkey, and it's believed that fragments of Noah's Ark could be found there. If it is found eventually, rest assured that the "holy bible" is the truth and an accurate historical source. The story of Noah can be found in the book of Genesis.

I mean no offend to Christians Bible is man made stories no way you can convinced an atheist that Bible is a word God ,because it has more than 1000's errors and contradictions.
more or less........read this........
If the Bible is our moral guide, then how can it make pornographic statements such as: “...they may eat their own dung and drink their own piss with you” (2 Kings 18:27)? Also consult Numbers 31 where a whole tribe of people, including the elderly and children are slaughtered. The only survivors were the virginal women, who were later raped by the “just and perfect” Moses and his men. Is that what you want your children reading on Sunday?
My friend for real life of Jesus and his teachings please refer to Quran for comprehencive Guide...............................................

yes, God put it together read it & you'll be conviced. Just speculating does no good. Majority of people haven't even read more than a minutes worth. It takes 42 hours to read it at a slow pace, start with Matthew first book in the new testament.

Jesus said, "Woe to the scribes and Pharisees." The scribes made copies
of the Word so others could read them, and they undoubtedly changed
some things they didn't understand. As well as the fact religious leaders
make rules as to what we can and cannot believe!
That doesn't mean our Holy Writings have no value at all. We just need to
listen to our hearts.

Keep searching, cuz your way off track. If you truly want the truth you will find it. I study the truth "rightly divided" and get nothing like you have. Relax, be happy, don't worry, I get peace and contentment now that I have found a pastor that translates from the original languages. The Bible is the mind of Christ. Once you get to know him he is GREAT. He provides the only true equality. He talks to me. I listen. I pray. HE answers. I am thankful, He blesses. I love him. He Loves you. Peace out.
