Trocadero on Picaddily, watch movies or play the arcades; Covent Garden, watch the street performers or do a show yourself; Go to the National Portrait Gallery neat Trafalgar Square. Otherwise, if you are looking for something different and your not sure. Check out http://www.myvillage.com you can find all the different districts of London and going on there abouts. depends on your preference but spittalfields & brick line are great for shopping & have some of the best cafes/bars & underground clubs in London

islington and hackney have some great bars cheap and there is always something to entertain you...............
otherwise soho its not all porn and sex shops...but the prices are high
