I don't wait for a holiday to give to my community. I give all year long.

We always pick a couple of "angels" from local charities -- kids who need holiday presents.

Every year we always provide (anonymously) a holiday dinner, through a church, to a needy family -- we let the minister choose which family in his congregation would need the spot of cheer the most, and deliver the dinner supplies to him.

Every holiday season we make it a point to buy cat food, dog food and toys to take to the humane shelter in our area. We do this several times a year anyway, but especially around yuletide.

There is nothing left that is good in that holiday. All is senseless materialism and misconstrued religious ceremony. I would be happy to see the holiday just go away.

I don't just wait for this one day of the year to serve or give praise to the Lord. I share His word every day of the year with people. Christmas day is just another day I share the way to salvation with others. Jesus does not bless me one day out of the year, so I dont' celebrate Him only one day out of the year.

One day of the holiday is loathsome enough . Do we have to drag it out for six weeks?

Jesus told us to celebrate his death on nisan 14 not is birth. nisan 14 is the last supper or passover and since it comes once a year. celebrate once a year. you should be good to your neighbor all year. xmas is a pagan holiday

Better to live your life being good to people all year round , than just one day which is of pagan origin anyway, and jesus never told his followers to celebrate.
