I think if leaders feel the need to go to war, then that leader and the other leader should do fight themselves nstead of sending people they dont know to do their dirty work. I think there would be less wars and more communications dont you?

You are perhaps thinking of. "An armed society is a polite society", from R A Heinlein's "Beyond This Horizon", where some possibilities of an armed and duelling culture are considered.
Would everyday rudelness and incivility diminish if the other person might call a duel or simply pull a weapon?
Possibly, but those with bad arguments and weak intellects who happened to have good eyesight and reflexes would find their positions markedly enhanced.
A culture for bullies, unless one could hire a professional opinion-holder for one's cause. Instead of a lawyer, you'd hire a gladiator.
There's a SF story in here somewhere about some well- meaning person taking on "pro bono" cases against corporate "lawyers", except it's probably already been done as a western.

I think that you should take two rubber chickens, and fill them with mayonnaise. Then at ten paces you squeeze all of the mayo out at your rival, and then you jump each other and beat one another stupid with the rubber chickens. The winner gets to do the looser in the butt.
