Highly possible, for all sorts of reasons. A man could care deeply about someone but need to go outside of this relationship to fulfill his needs. Men differ a great deal than woman and think and act differently.

If you're talking about that 'someone else' being competition to you, then NO! It is not acceptable. When you love someone, you are supposed to give you ALL. He, like all people, could choose to go out with someone else, but that defeats the point of loving someone. A relationship, is two people together. OF COURSE it's normal to 'look' elsewhere (with our eyes!!!), we're human! But acting upon it, doesn't make us trustworthy. A relationship, is supposed to be a union between 2 people.
