I met this girl and we had a great conversatation, we also exchanged our phone numbers. So this weekend I sent her a msg asking her out and she said she's busy and cannot go.
Is this the usual rejection? Why did the girl give her phone number? Totally confused.

You sent her a message??? Dork. Why not an email or a fax? Go up to her and ask her properly, if she really is too busy, you can reschedule, if she won't reschedule, forget about it.

If you are 25 years, ask her again, few rejections, no risk no gain.
You said, "Totally confused". In the spur of the moment they give number, but some times it is wrong on purpose, you may have reached some one else,Some people are not able to say no, face to face.
