What should I do? It hurts SO SO much like NO other... Like I CANNOT swallow... Anything to take, do or avoid? Thanks! :-(

Great question - it makes my throat hurt to answer it. There is some thing you can do - an old home remedy that will make your throat feel better until you can see your Dr. Gargle with hot salty water. That will reduce the pain by 50%. The salt will dehydrate what is in your throat. Or there are lozenges you can buy that will temporarily reduce the pain. If I recall correctly the are called Cepracal (spelling is not correct). If you have strep better get the Dr on the phone and get some antibiotics to knock it out.

Go to the doctor! You need a throat swab done and probaby some anti-biotics. Do you have spots on your left tonsil? Any fever? Warm salt water gargles help and Tylenol every 4 hours will help with pain.

Hopefully its not strep throat!! That is so painful! You need to see a doctor soon and get some antibiotics.If it is strep it wont get any better without them.Feel better soon.

i just had that on my right side of my throat and my doc said its called a kanker sore its a small white sore you can get only in your mouth. oral numbing gel on the sore or oral gel the brand name just came out with small numbing dissolving patches. let me no if youll try this.

go and skull a bottle of vodka and lemon it will kill any germs, i have tried this and it worked.
