There are no safe days. There is always a chance to become pregnant during sex. Abstinence is the only 100% proven method to avoid pregnancy. But the "safer" days would be during the period.

No no no! There aren't any safe days, there is NO way to tell exactly when she is ovulating and different women ovulate at different times in their cycle and sometimes can ovulate on different times even with a regular cycle. You must use birth control otherwise you will end up with a pregnancy at some point. If your not ready for kids then use birth control otherwise you are playing with fire...

Especially since ovulation can be affected by stress, illness or a number of reasons. Even when a woman has a regular cycle, is tracking fertility awareness through ovulation predicters such as basal temp., mucos, and other signs etc.. There is a 25% failure rate. But it is actually much higher because most women are not adept at reading the signs of ovulation and ovulation can fluxuate so easily.

No time is absolutely 100% safe. A woman usually ovulates 2 weeks after a period so if your periods are regular up to 8 days after SHOULD be safe, likewise a few days before a period. Use contraception if you have any sense - things happen!

There really is no safe day/days to avoid pregnancy. Every womens cycle is different therefore she can ovulate early or late after her period. You would be taking a big risk and I wouldn't chance it. You should try using some kind of birth control to be on the safe side. Good luck!!

Sperm can stay as much as a week, with approximately 3-5 days being likely. for this reason, intercourse as much as 5 days in the past ovulation can carry approximately being pregnant, with every day optimal to ovulation increasing your opportunities further and added. So 5 days in the past ovulation makes it probably to get pregnant, on an identical time as the day in the past makes it very probably to get pregnant. in spite of this, you nevertheless purely have a 20-25% threat of having pregnant each month, even once you do each thing ideal on time. Take it from me, i've got been attempting to get pregnant for 11 cycles, and chart ovulation each month. It happens for others plenty extra uncomplicated, however. wish this facilitates.

ed z is so right, dont forget to count the actual days you are on your period, not after it stops, so if you bleed 5 days, then that leaves only 3 more before possible ovulation

but really this method is too unpredictable! get on the pill! or buy condoms! if your not married and wouldnt mind if you got pregnant it just doesnt make sense not to

What a bunch of misinformation.

Day one of your period until day 8. And the18th day until your next period are the safest days. This is assuming you have a 28 day cycle.

This means that the 8th day until the 18th days are you most dangerous days to have unprotected sex.
Yes you can have sex during your period. It is messy but
