if you strapped yourself into a hypothetical spaceship and blasted off into outer space and traveled on a path that would not hit any obstructions, and assuming you had sufficient fuel you could travel an infinite number of miles but never get to the end and you could travel for eternity and still never get there. The thing is, it doesn't matter if you go slow (1 ft per day) or at the speed of light (thousands of miles per second).

infinity is related to any, some or all the three dimensions, height, lenght or wideness.
eternity is related to time

i think so...eternal is defined. infnity is not
if you want to become eternal, run at the speed of light. but you can never feel yourself becoming infinite.

Let's say right now is zero time.
Then, time can expand infinitely in any direction, what we call eternity.
