I just picked my 7 bronco up from the shop yesterday and it started idling funny after I got it home. When I crank it up it is slow to crank, then the truck idles at 3k rpm for 10 secs, drops to 2k then drops low like its go to cut off, shoots up then down a few times then dies. When I drive it, the moment i start to break the car trembles like its going to cut off but when I come to a stop the rpms jerk back up again.I dont even have to be stopping, if i press the break at all the cars starts to act like its going to die.It is also getting poor gas mileage.
Prior to the work it would cut off and sputter. This is what Ive had done: Major tune up,Replaced EGR and cleaned EGR ports, o2 sensor, map sensor, both fuel filters and o ring, and Cat converter.
These are the codes i got before repair: code 41-bank not switching, code33- insficcient EGR flow and code 13 cant control RPM/LOW.
Any help would be great. After 1k and a garauntee that these would fix the problem i am stumped

Listen carefully for hissing sound while pressing on the brake. Your Brake booster might have a torn diaphram. Causing a vacuum leak locate the hose to the booster between the left side of the intake manifold and the master cyl area behind the brake resv. and either pinch it off or pull the hose off the manifold and plug the manifold pipe. Does the Bronco still buck! Year of truck engine size and miles all helpfull. The codes your were getting indicate lean running engine and a bad DPFE sensor that measures EGR flow also the Idle air control cannot keep the idle in specified range. Make sure the brake booster is not causing all of this first. If necessary ask us again.

Take it back to the shop, they might have accidentally forgot to put the vacuum line or plug back on the egr valve. You might have throttle position sensor problems.

i have to say mine did the same and its the oxygen sensor....if you just picked it up from getting it repaired then i would be calling them back up because they messed up something...unless you didn't have the oxygen sensor replaced if not i would do so..

Maybe the idle air control valve.

My best advice would be to take it right back to the shop where you had the work done.
