Unfortunately... yes...
People keep doing things that would hurt the earth regardless of the knowledge of the outcome of their actions...
Doing things that could save them money while hurting the environment...
I wish people would stop doing this...

Yes we are but it's all prophecy. Signs of the coming of the Lord. Read your bible. It's not just the weather situation. Look at the war sand all of the commotion going on around us. We have always had weather issues but this is the worst ever.

Many will not believe but I challenge you to get a bible and read. Get the NIV bible or NLT (new living translation), it's the same word but written in plain english so that people can understand the meaning. It's the greatest story ever told. Start with the New Testament. You will see that half of this book is actually describing us...the world as it is today.

It's not an accident that I am writing this and that you all are reading it. I know that I will get the thumbs down because people are afraid of religion but at least check it out for yourself.

This is a call from God and the things that are happening is a warning, that we should get our "house" in order because he is coming soon.

i'm vulnerable to think of the two. If we had the would desire to pass away Earth interior the close to destiny (say interior of five years), we've the technologies and potential to launch a huge scale challenge which might take sufficient human beings to maintain our race. this style of challenge might unavoidably incorporate lots of the brightest minds in a great style of medical fields. And the challenge would additionally incorporate the components and procedures had to proceed medical learn and progression. mutually as this style of challenge might start up with the technologies we've attainable right now, it would at last start to incorporate new technologies progressed 'in flight'. on the different hand, i think of human nature is possibly to deliver approximately our own destruction. besides the fact that if we don't kill ourselves in a international struggle, we are able to possibly kill ourselves by making use of draining the sustainability of the planet. no count if meaning we poison the ambience or we use all the components, it nonetheless quantities to the comparable element. of path it rather is in many instances available new technologies might emerge to derive components from the waste and that is possibly that some human beings might survive any disaster. mutually as maximum persons of the human race might die, i'm beneficial some people - or our greater progressed descendants - might proceed to inhabit the Earth until eventually it replaced into made thoroughly uninhabitable by making use of exterior forces.

Yes, I completely agree with you. We can TRY to change things, but it may not be enough. And truth be told, it may be better for the planet if we humans got extinct sooner rather than later, because from how I see things, we are the cause of everything negative that is going on in the world.

Well, you're doing something about it right now by preaching to the masses in cyberspace. Of course, not everybody's going to listen, but you may reach some. It's my hope that the planet will be saved for the rest of us tree-huggers and the nay-sayers will be eliminated. But then again, I dream of a perfect world.

We are destroying ourselves but I think that is the master plan. It is already decided what comes next after humans self-destruct and kill the planet and ourselves.

A lot of us do care very much. But we have little influence over a government with other agendas and a population that is easily wooed with religious fevour and trivia.

Well, first we'll have to notice our mistakes. Some of us are still believing god is doing all that.
Then we'll have to act pretty fast, globally. Almost all fossil fuels are running out at a fast rate.

Individuals might know this, but humanity is foolish.
