I use Avast anti virus and have Comodo Firewall..i use the following Anti spyware programmes Spybot,Ad aware,A squared Free and Windows defender...DO I NEED a Registry Cleaner and if so what is the best (free) one on the market(please do not recommend Tweaknow)..?Also should i download Avast virus Cleaner Tool even though i use their Anti virus system....

If you do decide to use a registry cleaner please be sure you know what you are doing! One of the best places I have found to get any type of freeware programs for your computer security is at http://majorgeeks.com/. I use CCleaner to clear any unwanted junk from my computer because it is pretty much fool-proof and for me ....thats a must! Good Luck!
Almost forgot! I also run the Avast Virus cleaner tool. I like it because it is a standalone and it also cleans Worms as well as viruses. Hope this helped you out!

Install an anti spyware and scan the PC. I can give a few links that offer free spyware removers...! . Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at http://fixit.in/spywareremover.html

I feel you do need to run a registry cleaner. You will be amazed at what it can find and get rid of. I use RegScrubXP. You can download it from http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2048

here is a free reg cleaner that all the proffessional like to recommened
it is from world start.com...it is called REGCLEANER
ifu do not know what a a reg cleaner is...(i dont think u really do if u had to ask if u need one) u better be careful..u can crash pc with a registery cleaner

Easy clean it is the best from toniarts it is free and you get all the down loads and updates free. AVG from Grisoft is good too as well as Ad-Awear from Lavasoft
